We’ll start with quick experiments using a variety of animation techniques. The learning curve is huge(!) so the more you are exposed to, the less likely you’ll be “stuck” for ideas or lacking knowledge later on. Experimental works will be broad in style and brief in time to help you choose what to focus on and refine for more professional looking major projects. There’s clearly more than one way to animate and successfully convey an idea!
More depth, less breadth. Using the skills you learned in Animation 1, create longer more focussed work with a higher degree of difficulty, stronger story lines, smoother transitions, and a more polished look.
